Manuelito died Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, in Las Vegas, N.M. She was born Sept. 10, 1928, in Many Farms, into the Weaver People Clan for the Blackstreet Wood People Clan.
Manuelito lived in Gallup, Denver, and Houston. She enjoyed traveling with family, which allowed her to see places such as Germany, France and the Netherlands. Later, she returned back to New Mexico.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Manuelito; son, Paul Talk; daughters, Daisy Tobias, Barbara Gutierrez, Betty Montelongo, Beverly Manuelito; brothers, Harry Talk Jr., Kenneth Talk; sisters, Mattie Singer, Dorothy Cantu, Rose Talk; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Manuelito was preceded in death by her parents, Guy Bizard, Nellie Talk; brothers, Allen Talk; sisters, Rose Marie Talk, Mae Skinner.
Pallbearers will be Joe Tobias, Daniel Gutierrez, Robert Morales, Eric Tobias, Ramon Montelongo III, and Bobby Talk.
The family will meet 5 p.m., in Newcomb.
