LEAVITT--In this city, on the 10th inst., Martha B, wife of Dr Lyman Leavitt. The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from her husband's residence, No 312 Chestnut Avenue, on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment at Riverview Cemetery at convenience of the family.

Mrs Martha B, wife of Dr Lyman Leavitt, died yesterday at noon at the home of her husband, 312 Chestnut Avenue. Mrs Leavitt was a daughter of the late Louis Bronfon and was born in October, 1839 in Plymouth, Conn. Mr Bronfon was a large farmer and removed from New England in the early fifties to settle in Taylorville, Pa. It was there Dr Leavitt met and married her, and upon the breaking out of the war in 1861 he volunteered as a surgeon in the Union Army. Mrs Leavitt served as a nurse an won distinction. Of the seven children born to them, four sons and three daughters, but two are living, Charles B, practicing physician, and Harry D, a former member of council, now an Assemblyman. The funeral will take place Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from her late home. Interment will be made in Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Poulson & Coleman.
