Harry Burton Barringer, 83, a nine-year resident of Rialto, died there Saturday. He was a native of Kalamazoo, Mich.
He was head maintenance man for the Ford Motor Co. River Rouge Plant in Detroit, Mich. He was a member of the United Auto Workers AFL-CIO Local No 600 of Detroit and the PTL of Charlotte, N.C. He was formerly a non-denominational minister in Michigan. He attended the First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include his wife, Maude; two sons, Lorne S. and Paul N., both of Detroit; three stepsons, Donald A. and D. Lee Wisdom, both of Rialto, and Willard M. Wisdom of Colorado; three daughters, Dorothy B. Wisdom of Rialto and Helen S. South of Russellville, Ala.; a stepdaughter, Mary L. Boyle of Santa Rosa, 35 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Services are scheduled for noon Wednesday in the First Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in the Rialto Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Allen-Gleason Funeral Home.
