Dale Henry Warren was born on June 1, 1925, in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Henry Greene and Wava Adams Warren, and departed this life on August 9, 2008, in Forsyth Care Center, Forsyth, Missouri, at the age of 83 years. Dale was a musician with the Sons of the Pioneers since December of 1952, and was the only member of the group that had performed with every member up to the group now performing at Shepherd of the Hills Farm in Branson, Mo. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was of the Baptist faith. He had been a resident of Branson for several years. He is survived by his wife, Margie Ann Devere Warren of the home; a granddaughter, April Dawn Linville and husband, Corey of Garden City, Kansas; and grandson Dale James Gannon of Riverside, California. He was preceded in death by his only daughter, Gayle Robin Behrens. Private services were held on Thursday, August 14, 2008, in Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson, with Rev. Cliff Braschler and Rev. Bob Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
