The story is that the minister of Immanuel Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod) would not bury him because he was a member of a lodge -- possibly the Hermann Sons. Burial records for August were located at Martin Luther Lutheran Church. Exact location of burial for August was not determined. Several relatives have indicated they believe he is buried in the same plot as August and Christiana Biehle but there is no marker to identify the grave.
