WILLIAM DAVID "BILL" ANDRIST
was born Feb 1, 1926 in LaGrande, Oregon the only child of William Andrist and Eva Mae Dickinson Andrist. His grandfather, Frederick Andrist Jr. was an immigrant from Bern, Switzerland.

Bill served as S1 in the United States Navy during WWII.

He married Deloris "Dorrie" Viola Price on June 6, 1954 in Vancouver, Washington. The couple had five sons; David, Larry, John, Jeffrey, Andrew.

William died December 3, 1992 in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon and is buried in the Willamette National Cemetery.
