Margaret L. Egbert, 83, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, at her home in Garden City.
She was born July 18, 1925, in Larned, to August and Dorothy Keller Winter. When she was a child, her family moved to Deerfield, where she graduated from Deerfield High School.
On Oct. 16, 1943, she married Francis C. Egbert in Deerfield. They moved to Pierceville and then moved to a farm south of Charleston before relocating to Garden City in 1969. A homemaker, she enjoyed sewing clothing for her children, camping, and oil and water painting. She was a member of Pierceville Federated Church.
Funeral was at Pierceville Federated Church. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery, Garden City.
