DUBLIN COURIER HERALD
AUGUST 8, 1930

Laurens lost one of the most prominent and beloved citizens yesterday when James M. Fordham of Route 4, died after a short illness. The funeral will be held this afternoon at four o'clock at the Poplar Springs Baptist Chuch, with the Rev. C.E. Vines officiating. Adams will be in charge of the interment.

years and was, also, the treasurer and the superintendent of the Sunday school for many years.

Beside his sons and daughters he leaves 25 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

The surving sons of the deceased man are, J.B. and J.R. Fordham, both of Dublin. The surviving daughters are, Mrs. J.A. Wolf, Mrs. J.S. Montford, Miss Dozia Fordham and Mrs. R. H. Roach, all of this city.

Sincere sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.
