Visitation for Aaron J. Jones, 75, will be today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home, with vigil at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes. Burial will be at Wilbur Cemetery.
Mr. Jones, a lifelong resident of Spokane, died Saturday.
He was part owner of Madison-Jones Fuel Co. in Spokane, and later owned and operated Aaron Jones Services Inc. for more than 50 years.
Mr. Jones was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral, the Spokane Club, Knights of Columbus and the Westerners.
Survivors include his companion, Elaine Hrycenko; two sons, Stephen Jones of Nine Mile Falls and Michael Jones of Mead; five daughters, Theresa Blum of Medical Lake, Chris Kane of Vancouver, Wash., Kathleen Jones of Pensacola, Fla., and Megan Haberman and Stephanie Anderson, both of Spokane; three brothers, John and Pete Jones, both of Spokane and Mike Jones of Japan; two sisters, Anna Marie Malkoe of Mukilteo, Wash., and Camilla Phillipson of Rockford Bay, Idaho; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
