Jean, 80, of Lima, died at 2:04 p.m., at Lima Memorial Health System.

She was a daughter to George and Marie A. (Solms) Gensler. On Jun 19, 1948, she married Paul L. Rader, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Timothy (Bonnie), New Albany; three daughters, Rebecca Carter, Lima, Cynthia (John) Bowersock, Wapakoneta, and Pamela (Steve) Tribbie, Clearwater, FL; a sister, Lois Moeller, New Bremen; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a brother, George W.; and a granddaughter, Amanda Carter Horn.

She was a member of the former Grace United Methodist Church and Trinity United Methodist Church. She volunteered at Lima Memorial Hospital for more than 25 years and acquired more than 10,000 hours. She was a Girl Scout Leader for 25 years. She was active in the United Methodist Women where she held offices of president and treasurer. She loved her water aerobic class at the YMCA and she spent many years in a church bowling league.

Funeral services are at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Shawnee Chapel, with the Rev. John Medaugh officiating.
