Lila, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend; age 77, passed away peacefully August 9, 2008. She resided at 1992 South 200 East in the Central City area of Salt Lake City, Utah at the time of her death.


She was born June 18, 1931 in Spring City, Utah to Jesse Odell Blain and Flossie Allred. She was married to Russell Davis on July 14, 1951. Lila belonged to the LDS Church and was an active member in her ward. She was full of life and brought joy to every person she met. She loved spending time with her sons, grandsons, and her brother's family in Texas. She enjoyed her co-workers, friends and beloved cat.


She is survived by sons: Robert L. Davis and Russell A. Davis; brother, Dwain R. Blain (Mary); and his family; brother-in-law, Carl Pyper and his family; grandson, Russell O. Davis (Michelle); great grandchildren: Andrew and Haley Davis; granddaughter, Tammy Willes; great-grandchildren: Katherin Willes and Michal Marquez She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Tesse Pyper; and grandson Brian Davis.


Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2008 at 10 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), where a viewing will be held on Friday from 9-10 a.m.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Spring City Cemetery, Spring City, Utah.
