G. M. Deal, 77, of Route one, Marshall died Monday Sept. 14, 1987 at the Bothwell Regional Health Center.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Campbell-Lewis Chapel. The Rev. Robert McCombs will officiate. Burial will be in the Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Campbell-Lewis Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church or the Cancer Fund.
Born March 10, 1910 in Saline County, he was the son of the late Lester Deal and Clydie Harvey Deal. On Nov. 7, 1948 he was married to Ellen M. Wachter and she survives. Mr. Deal was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He had lived his entire life in Saline County and was a retired farmer. He was a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute and the American Aeronautical School.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
