A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz with Father Gerald Dalseth officiating. Burial was at St, Joseph's Parish Cemetery in Pierz.
Treecy M. Kapsner was born April 27, 1960, in Little Falls to Marne and Audreen (Solinger) Nagel. She grew up in Pierz and graduated from Pierz-Healy High School in 1978. She then attended St. Cloud Technical College for two years, where she received her accounting degree. Treecy was united in marriage to Bernie Kapsner Sept. 10, 1983, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz. She worked for 24 years for Morrison County Public Health as an accountant/manager. Treecy enjoyed fishing, golfing, gardening, crafts, garage sales, traveling, spending time at the lake, watching her children play sports and spending time with her family.
Treecy M. Kapsner is survived by her husband Bernie Kapsner of Pierz; daughters Julie and Kayla of Pierz; mother Audreen Nagel of Pierz; brother Curt Nagel and wife Candy of Sauk Rapids; and sister Michelle Klein and husband Chuck of St. Paul.
Treecy was preceded in death by her father Marne Nagel.
Honorary pallbearers were Karen Athman, Anne Janson, Linda Welle, Ginny Seelen, Val Stangl, Diane Tamm, Tammy Saehr and Mary Handeland. Active pallbearers were Kori Nagel, Amber Nagel, Lisa Klein, Heather Mayer, Mark Seelen, Joe Meyer, Rick Kapsner and Roxanne Gohman.
