Mildred Y. Bargeron
BLACKSHEAR -- Mrs. Mildred Young Bargeron, 73, died May 14 at Satilla Regional Medical Center.
The Pierce County native had worked as an insurance agent with AFLAC and received a master's degree in education from Valdosta State University after she turned 50. She was a member of Southgate Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS: her husband, Woodrow Bargeron of Blackshear; a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Frances McIntosh of Blackshear; two grandchildren, Mark Williams and Shannon Rowland, both of Blackshear; five great-grandchildren, Joshua Lee, Tra' Williams, Da'sha Westberry and Kailey Westberry; two nieces, a nephew and several other relatives
VISITATION: 7-9 p.m. today at Pearson-Treadwell Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Thursday at Southgate Baptist Church, burial in Bristol Cemetery.
