Elizabeth was the 2nd of 7 children of George Rowe and Maria Keppel of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
She married on October 28, 1830, to John William Barnhart.
They appear in the 1850 census of Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and Elizabeth appears there again in 1860.
