Hon. S. T. Drane died Monday at his home near Eminence. He was an uncle of Capt. Ed Drane and Judge George C. Drane, of this city, and at one time, about fifteen years ago, made the race as the candidate of the Greenback party for Congress against Hon. J. C. S. Blackburn.
Judge Drane was present at the funeral, which took place at Eminence Tuesday.
