Death of Jackson Henry.
John Willard, of this city, received a message from Shelbyville, Saturday morning, announcing the death of his brother-in-law, Jackson Henry, a former resident of Franklin. The Shelby Republican, Saturday said:
“Last evening about four o’clock Jackson Henry, who lived on South street, went into A. J. Haymond’s place of business on South Harrison street. A few moments after he entered the store he was stricken with paralysis from the effects of which he died a few hours afterward. Mr. Henry was formerly a resident of Sugar Creek township where he owned a nice farm. His death occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert Gritton, corner of South and Tompkins streets, at one o’clock a.m., Friday, March 27. He was born Oct. 3, 1813, in Harrison County, Ky., being eighty-two years, five months and fifteen days old at the time of his death. He came with his parents to Indiana in 1816, was married to Mary A. Willard, Sept 23, 1851. He leaves two children, Jno. W. Henry and Mrs. Rob’t Gritton, both of this city.”
The remains were brought to Second Mt. Pleasant cemetery, Sunday morning for burial.

Death of Jackson Henry.
