***HENRY HACKATHORNE DEAD***

After an illness with that dread disease, consumption, since November last, Henry Hackathorne died at his home in East End at 4:18 o'clock yesterday afternoon.

Deceased was aged 53 years, and leaves a wife and eight children, Miss Ruth and Daisy, and Charles and Edward, and Mrs. James Means, Mrs Joseph Pollock, Mrs. James Craven, and William Henry Hackathorne. His mother, Mrs. Anne Hackathorne, an aged lady, resides on lower Fifth street.

He was a member of Company K, Third Ohio volunteers, enlisting in Wellsville, and after serving three years was discharged on September 16, 1864.

His brother George, of Railroad street, also enlisted from this section.

He leaves two other brothers, James, of Fifth street, and Milton of New Cumberland. Deceased was by trade a cooper and has worked in shops all over the city. He was a member of General Lyon post, G.A.R. and the comrades will have charge of the funeral.

Services will be held in the Second Methodist Episcopal church, East End at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, Reverend Sears officating, Interment in Riverview cemetery.
