OKOLONA - Amy Jane Bafford, 95, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005, at her home. A native of Houlka, she was born Nov. 19, 1909, to George and Frances Cook. She was a member of the Sunrise Church of God of Prophecy, where she was clerk treasurer for more than 40 years. She was a Care Group leader and a Sunday school teacher. She was the widow of Joe L. Bafford.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Sunrise Church of God of Prophecy in Okolona with Bishop Willie B. Ware Jr. officiating. Kenneth I. Roberson Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include three daughters, Jessie Richardson and Rosa Robinson, both of Okolona, and Mary Davidson of New Orleans; three sons, Joe L. Bafford Jr. and wife, Earnestine, of Saltillo, Feland Bafford and wife, Barbara, of Amory, and Joe Nathan Bafford and wife, Linda, of Cleveland, Tenn.; 46 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
