VIRDEN - Fred E. Quinn, 54, of Virden died at 1:15 a.m. Sunday at St. John's Hospital.

Surviving are his wife, Esther; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth A. Donaldson, of Girard; Janet and Cheryl Quinn, both of Virden; two sons, Lendell, of Plainfield; and Larry, of Virden; three grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Gertrude Quinn, of Virden; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Martin and Mrs. Lucille Quinn and Mrs. Helen Bumpus, all of Springfield; and Mrs. Dorothy Foster, of Lowder; and two brothers, Paul, of Virden; and John, of Lowder.

Services were at St. Catherine's Church, Virden.

Burial was in West Grove Cemetery west of Thayer.
