Charles H. Adams Dies At Linton
Word has been received here of the death of Charles H. Adams, 74, a native of Bartholomew county. Mr. Adams died unexpectedly Monday at Linton, where he had made his home. Cause of death was an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Adams was born July 15, 1896, the son of James M. and Ollie Cox Adams. He was a veteran of the first world war, serving in H company. He married Miss Dollie Hunter of Linton May 17, 1938. She died July 15, 1967.
Survivors here include a brother, Doris Adams of Route 2; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Sullivan of 1644 Maple street and Mrs. Inez Palmer of 71 North Hinman street; a niece, Mrs. Eva Thomas of Elizabethtown; and a nephew, Donald Adams of Route 2.
Funeral services will be conduced at 1 p.m. Thursday at Anderson-Poindexter funeral home at Linton. Burial will be at Sanborn cemetery, south of Linton.
