Marianne was born in Germany, in a town in which her family had lived for generations. After the Nazis gained power, she fled to the US. She put herself thru college and later earned a Master's Degree from Temple University. She worked as a rehabilitation counselor and wanted to make people's lives better. She was a loving mother and an adored grandmother. She was a wonderful cook and her Sacher Torte was out of this world. She is missed.
