Mrs Cowan died Tuesday at Holliday's Cove and will be buried Thursday. She was in her 81st year and has been a remarkably healthy woman and lived nut four days after receiving a stroke of paralysis.

The Funeral of Mrs. Jane Cowen, mother of ex-senator Cowen, of Pa., took place on Thursday, from her late residence in Holliday's Cove, W.Va. Her remains were interred in the burial-ground at Tucker's Meeting House, near Florence, Pa. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. George Hudson.
