Note from Memorial Manager: A trip to Fairview Cemetery on May 24, 2023 did not turn up a gravestone. His Veteran Burial Card on Ancestry.com states that Alexander C. Wensel is buried in Section D, Lot 15. There are numerous stones in Section D and several are unreadable. The cemetery is not well kept at the present time and because that grass is very high, it doesn't help when you are searching for a headstone.
