at the Wagga Wagga Base Hospital NSW Australia
The youngest of four children
Jacob was a healthy happy and very active child
He loved to run and play with his brothers and sister a pure bundle of energy :-)
Jacob attended Wellington point State school
where he excelled on sports and music (playing the clarent in the school concert band ) he was on the student council and one of the Sport captains for "king" house he was so proud the day he recieved his badge ..
Jacob played soccer for Mooroondu soccer club until under 10's he was then asked to trial for Brisbane soccer club in 2003 Jacob was selected
for the soccer accedemy at Capalaba ...
He played futsal for "magic" Jake was a keen cricket,basketball player ..he represented his school in 100,200,and cross country athletics
Jacob had been a little "off" for a couple of weeks and looked a little pale ..I took him to the doctors requesting a blood test ...The next day November 1st 2003 we recieved a phone call saying that our happy healthy super fit Jacob had Leukaemia and had to be taken straight to the Mater Children's hospital ...Jacob was diognosed with acute Myloid Leukaemia and our nighmare began
Jacob took all his treatments with smile never once questioning "Why Me!"
Jacob battled his Leukaemia with courage and faith never giving up ..after many set backs Jacob was in remission but relapsed in September 2004..He recieved a bone marrow transplant at the Royla children's Hospital from a woman from Victoria Australia on the 16th of November but relapsed again on day +93 Post BMT ( due to a major mistake from the royal childrens hospital
Jacob lost his battle with AML on the 16th June 2005 at 5:08pm 1 day before his 14th Birthday
Jacob is survived by His Mother Deanne Father Jon sister Jacinta and brothers Jonathon and Ryan
Jacob is missed with every beats of our hearts
