Son of John Albert & Friedericka Rittimann Ackermann & brother of John Albert, Arthur Andrew, Louis Walter, Edna Theresa, Norwin Frank, Milton Oswald, Lydia Natalie, Nelson Hermann, & Theodore William. He married Frieda Hild on 9/22/1906 in Comal County. She died in childbirth & is buried in the St Paul's Church Cemetery, Cibolo, Tx. His second wife was Alma Marie Real Goszehmeigen or Grosamigen married on 2/8/1910. They had no children together, however Alma has two girls by her previous marriage.
