Leon was the son of Joe Christopher Williams and Gertrude L Wright Williams. He was born in Eldorado, Oklahoma. He served in the U S Army during World War II. He enlisted in September of 1946 and was discharged in April of 1952. He served in the Japanese occupation and was a veteran of the Korean War. He married Maxine Unknown Williams. Their children were Linda and Lisa. On 22 Mar 1969 he married Eula Alice Braker Tinsley in Eldorado, Oklahoma. They had no children. He worked in California, Arizona and Oklahoma as a custom hay baler and carpenter. He died in Quanah, Texas.
