Obituary - Mrs. Eva Augusta Still , aged 77, died suddenly Tuesday night at her home on Library avenue , Brookhaven. Earlier in the day she had voted and went for a ride, then was taken ill. Mrs. Still , who was born in Patchogue, a daughter of the late William and Martha Ruland Hammond , had lived in Brookhaven for the past 17 years, and before that , had lived in Coram for many years. She leaves her husband, D. Benjamin Still , a former deputy highway superintendent of Brookhaven town; a son, Philip G. Still of Sag Harbor; a daughter, Mrs. Alice S. Abrams of Blue Point , and two grandchildren. Mrs. Still was a member of the Brookhaven Episcopal church. The funeral service was held at 2 p. m. today from the Still home, the Rev. Frederick Peters, of Holbrook, officiating. Interment is in Coram Methodist cemetery.
