BOWIE, Md. - Herbert W. Frankenfield, 76, of 17610 Central Ave., Bowie, Md., formerly of New Oxford and Hanover, died Monday at Washington Adventist Hospital in Tacoma Park, Md. He was the husband of Clara V. (Thomas) Frankenfield, who died Aug. 13. 1998
The service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Feiser Funeral Home Inc., 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford. Burial will be in New Oxford Cemetery. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, Md., and 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the Feiser Funeral Home.
Mr. Frankenfield was born Sept. 28, 1922, in New Oxford. He was the son of the late Robert D. and Lulu E. (Rhineheimer) Frankenfield.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Frankenfield is survived by a son, Steven J. Frankenfield of Bowie; a daughter, Judy L. Brent of Charleston, S.C.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Angela Cooley-Bulhof, pastor of Conewago Circuit of United Methodist Churches.
