Clyde served as a Sergeant in M.P. Company 80th Division

He enlisted 18 Sept 1917 and was discharged 12 June 1919.

He was way-laid in an alley and stabbed in the back by a black man who stole his railroad watch and money.

He worked as a railroad conductor.
Francis Clyde Aaron was murdered in McKeesport pa. For a 20$ gold peice and a railroaders watch. He served in the military in 1917 was born 12/16/1887 he was one of 13 children born to James L and Pheobe J Aaron.His brothers and sisters are as follows,Anna B. Aaron Lyle, Genevieve (jennie) R Aaron Starr, Agnes E Aaron Hicks, Loretta M Aaron Clark, Rena Aaron, Lydia M Aaron Stahlman, Lillian H Aaron Keller, Edward J Aaron, Clinton Thomas Aaron, Alvin James Aaron, and William Charles Aaron.
