OBITUARY: The Manti Messenger, Thursday 28 September 1905:
Elizabeth Snow Crawford.
Mrs. Elizabeth Snow Crawford, old time and highly respected citizen of this city, died
Saturday, Sept 23, 1905, at 3:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nora
Braithwaite, after lingering for some months of ???.
The deceased was a daughter of Gardner and Sarah S. (Hasting) Snow, and was born at
Laramie, ? Co., Ill., Jan 2, 1840. She ? the second wife of the late John Crawford, to
whom she was married in February, 1869. She was the mother of twelve children, eight of whom
are living and were present at the funeral. They are as follows: Mrs. Sarah M. Tatton,
Mrs. Martha M. Tatton, Mrs. Nora Braithwaite, Mrs. C. D. Heash, Gardner J., Charles C.,
Albert D., and Frank Crawford.
The funeral took place at the Tabernacle Tuesday afternoon at ? and was presided over by
? Peterson. The speakers were Prest. John B. Maiben, Wm ?, Daniel Henrie and ?. A large
crowd of ? and friends were present to pay their last respects. The pall bearers
consisted entirely of ? sons-in law.
