Mrs. Verna Bault, 57 years old, of Calvertville, formerly of Spencer, died at 6:30 o'clock Monday evening at the Freeman - Greene county hospital. Mrs Bault was bom in Coal City on May 14, 1902, the daughter of William and Mattie Mae Sheer Peacher. She had spent most of her life in the Spencer community. and was a member of the Spencer
Penticostal church. She is survived by the husband, Raymond Bault, to whom she was married May 15, 1918; seven sons, Charles Bault of Freedom, Oliver Bault of Indianapolis, Harold, Francis and John Bault, all of Spencer, Albert Bault of Logansport and James Bault, with the U S Navy in Massachusetts; seven daughters, Mrs. Roscoe Close and Mrs. James Boling, both of Spencer, Miss Arminta Bault and Mrs. Truman Snider, both of Indianapolis, Mrs Frank Blaney of Calvertville and Misses Ellen and Mildred Bault, both at home; four sisters. Mrs. Elizabeth Eliott of Ellettsville, Mrs. Bessie Hamilton of Bloomington, and Mrs. Edna Wolford and Mrs. Mabel Schaffer, both of Columbus, Ohio; a brother. Orval Peacher of Waco, Tex.; two half-brothers, John Young of Billings. Mont., and Dale Myers of Indianapolis, and 22 grandchildren. Mrs. Bault's body was taken to the West Funeral home at Spencer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Spencer Pentecostal church with Rev Raymond Sturgell officiating. and burial will be made in the River Hill cemetery at Spencer.
