In addition to his wife, Vicki and mother, Mary, both of Chillicothe, he is survived by sisters, Gloria Eyre, of Chillicothe, Joyce Houser, of Frankfort, Wilhelmina Dutton, of Columbus, and Peggy Sue (Dane) Miller, of Chillicothe; a brother, Joseph (Linda) Blazer, of Olive Hill, KY; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Robert (Betty) Peck, David (Joyce) Peck, Linda McNichols, all of Chillicothe, and Karlene (Don) Davis, of Troy, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Samuel E. Blazer, and by a sister, Deanna Jane Posey.
Gary, a U.S. Navy Veteran, served with the Cuban Expeditionary Force and during the Vietnam Era. He worked at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center for 26 years and was a lifetime member of AMVETS Post 4 and VFW Post 108, where he had served as commander, and was a member of American Legion Post 62.
Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
