Born Dec. 29, 1941, in Kermit, Texas, he died Aug. 22, 1996. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer L. Baird, and his mother, Flossie R. Baird.
An Ardmore High School graduate, Bryan was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from military duty in 1984. Bryan was an employee of Bell Helicopter, Hurst, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, LaVerne Baird, of the home; his stepmother, Rutha Baird, Ardmore; two sons, Michael Baird, Norman, and Terry Moore, Fort Worth; two daughters, Jovita Vermillion and Jennifer Maxey, both Ardmore; one brother, Bill R. Baird, Burleson, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Bearers will be Murel Vermillion, Don Maywald, Jim Ward, Wayne Baird, Jerry Long and Larry Don Smith.
