Matthias, born Sept. 15, 1752 8.

Born in England.
Bought 1662, of Henry Rice land on west side of Cochituate brook, and built a house a short distance southeast of the Albert G. Gibbs house. And in Apr. 16, 1683, he bought 60 acres of Gookin and How, adjoining his first purchase. Probably he was the fourth man to build on Framingham land.
Was buried Sept. 15, 1717.
He married (1) July 1, 1658, Hannah Stone, daughter of John; (2) Martha Rice, daughter of Matthew.
Children include:
Hannah, born May 6, 1661, married John Adams ;
John, born Nov. 29, 1689 3;
David 4;

BENT, 1. John,
From Fenton, England.
Husbandman, came over in the ship Confidence 1638, then age 35, with wife and 5 children; Returned to England, and came over again the next year. Settled at Sudbury (now Wayland), where he had a home-lot and 30 acres of meadow. An original proprietor of Marlborough in 1656.
Died in Sudbury, Massachusetts on Sept. 27, 1672.
His wife was Martha, who died on May 15, 1679.
Children include:
Robert;
William; Peter;
John born 1635 2;
Ann or Agnes, married Edward Rice;
Joseph, born Sudbury on May 16, 1641 ;
Martha, married Samuel How.
