Mary Opal Maupin died June 20, 2005, at Community Hospital in Grand Junction. Mary was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Lillie Cavender, brother Jim Cavender, sisters Ida Reed, Ruth Willliams and Dorothy Ann Wagner, and also by her daughter Lillie Becker and granddaughter Kim Holloway. She is survived and will be sorely missed by her daughters, Diane O'Neil and Kathryn Carpenter, (Stan); son Bob Maupin (Wendy); nieces and nephews, Linda Kelley (Dale), Susan Alexander (Steve), Francine Dennis (Carl), Gary Reed (Blondie), Toni Sanford (Al); brother Charles DuCray (Sandy); numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and friends. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2005, at the L.D.S. Church located at 25-1/2 and G Road, Grand Junction. Interment will follow in the Crown Point Cemetery, Grand Junction. Arrangements are being handled through Cortez Four Corners Funeral Chapel, Hale and Gerken
