FORT SCOTT TRIBUNE OBITUARY
MONDAY APRIL 11, 1949
DEATH OF AN INFANT
David Arnold Smith, 8-day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Smith of 1002 1/2 South Main, died this morning at 9:30 at Burke Street hospital.
Surviving besides the parents are the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Eva Potter, the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Moore, a great-grandmother, Mrs. J.B. Moore, and a great-grandfather, J.R. Harris, all of this city. The mother was Miss Patricia Lucille Moore before her marriage.
A short prayer service will be held at the home of Mrs. J.B. Moore Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Interment will be in the Centerville cemetery.
The body will be at the Cheney Parlor chapel until the hour of the services.
