Nan Jan Willard, 107 Ash St., Wood Village, Troutdale, died Oct. 18 at the age of 68. She was born Nov. 8, 1897 in Palmyra, Mo., where she lived until she was about two years. She then moved to the Gresham area where she attended school. In 1943 in Vancouver, Wash., she married Robert Willard. Mrs. Willard attended the Presbyterian church.
Surviving are her widower, Robert; one son Valjean F. Metzger of Troutdale; two grandchildren; one greatgranchildchild; as sister, Mrs. R. Diesch of Troutdale; and two brothers, R. S. Anderson of Fairview, and George Anderson of Portland.
Services were Saturday, Oct. 22 in the chapel of Carroll Funeral Home with private interment in the Douglass cemetery, Troutdale. Rev. Oscar Payne officiated, William Elliott was soloist and Mrs. A. Bishop was organist.
