FORT WORTH - Manuel M. Solomon, 70, a shoe store owner, died Tuesday at home.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Kornbleet Chapel in Ahavath Sholom Cemetery.

Burial: Ahavath Sholom Cemetery.

Mr. Solomon was a native and lifelong resident of Fort Worth.

He was a member of Congregation Ahavath Sholom, the Mens Club of Ahavath Sholom, B'nai B'rith and Moslah Shrine Temple.

His wife, Ruby Fischl Solomon, died in 1991.

Survivors: Two sons, Dr. Gary B. Solomon of Dallas and Hal L. Solomon of Plano; daughter, Wendy S. Finkelstein of Dallas; brother, Leroy Solomon of Fort Worth and Diane Oberstein of Fort Worth; and six grandchildren.
