Patrick A. McCabe, age 65, of Brereton passed away Monday, June 11, 2007 at his home.

He was born Dec. 14, 1941, in Lewistown, the son of John F. and Pauline (Grigsby) McCabe. He married Sandra Hallmark on Dec. 18, 1965, at Havana.

Surviving are one son, Stephen (Sandy) McCabe of Cuba; two daughters, Pamela Martin of St. David and Angela (Tim) Myers of Wee Ma Tuk Hills; two grandsons, Ryan McCabe and Blake Myers; four granddaughters, Ashley McCabe, Tiffany Martin, Madison Myers and Jessica Martin; two sisters, Francis (Harold) Lindzey of Canton and Sharon Hall of Canton.

He was preceded by his parents; one brother, Joseph McCabe; and one granddaughter, Emily McCabe.

He worked 32 years at Caterpillar Inc. in Mapleton as an inspector before retiring. He served 30 years in the Air National Guard as a mechanic.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lewistown, United Auto Workers, Knights of Columbus in Canton and was an avid amateur ham radio operator.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at Lewistown, with military rites accorded by Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and American Legion Post 1.
