Mrs. Willie Delap aged 35 years died at her home here of influenza followed by pneumonia. She was the wife of Robert Delap and the daughter of Mrs. Mollie Williams. She was a christian woman a member of the Baptist church and is survived by a husband and child, one brother, two sisters, Mrs. McCutchen of Medina and Mrs. Poindexter of Milan. Funeral services were conducted by rev. W. D. Pickens an intermerment followed in Oakwood Cemetery.(Obituary in Milan Exchange, 12 Dec 1918)
