Henry Sumrall Dead.

Henry Sumrall was born in Jones County January 27, 1827, and died in West End, March 1, at the ripe old age of seventy-nine. A widow and seven children survive. He spent his entire life in what is now Jones county, and on a farm until recently. He married in early manhood and was the father of ten children, all of whom grew to be grown and had families of their own. Seventy-Seven grand children, seventy-one yet live; and eighteen great grand children seventeen of whom are living.

He was a successful farmer and a good citizen. Was a member of Primitive Baptist church. Friends laid him to rest in the old Mariah Church yard, one of the first churches of this section, March 2

Henry Sumrall Dead.
