Carl Stephen Bortell, 73, of Gore, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 1993, in Muskogee, Okla. He was retired from Webbers Falls State Bank and a member of Webbers Falls Masonic Lodge No. 14. He was also a World War II Army veteran who served with the 90th Infantry Division.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today in Gore United Methodist Church with burial at Gore City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Funeral Home.
He is survived by his Wife, Naomi; a daughter Carla Manley of Gore; two grandchildren, Angela Jones of Tulsa and Melanie Manley of Houston; and two great grandchildren Thad Fuller Jones and Arianne Jones both of Tulsa.
Pallbearers will be Ira Cato, F.M. Hefley, Bill Summers, Wayne Sloan, J.B. Satterfield and Jim Jones.
