Dorothy W. Hoyle (a.k.a. Granny), 74, passed away and entered into heaven Saturday, May 7, 2005.

She was born to Roy and Ethel Bass Warr in Valdosta, GA on August 12, 1930. Dot retired from Southern Bell after 32.5 years of service as a Service Representative.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Macclenny, FL. Her unconditional love, quick wit, kind heart and her unique gift of making everyone feel special, will be missed by so many.

Surviving are two children Diane (Jay) Spaar of Covington, LA, Philip (Bunny) Hoyle of Jacksonville Beach, FL; grandchildren Brendan Spaar of Alpharetta, GA, Eliane Spaar of Covington, LA, Mark (Mindy) Hoyle of Jacksonville, Fl, Jennifer (Kyle) Giddens of Mayo, FL, Jill Hoyle of Orlando, FL; great grandchildren Jeremiah and Abigail Giddens; brother Charles (Audrey) Warr of Fayetteville, GA. The best was saved for last, her best friend and sister, whom she loved with all her heart, Betty Rose (Al) Harris of Macclenny, FL.

The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. and a memorial service will follow on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at First Baptist Church of Macclenny at 11 a.m. with Pastor Edsel Bone officiating. Private graveside services will be held with Pastor Kyle Giddens officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of your choice: First Baptist Church of Macclenny, FL, Ocean Park Baptist Church of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Cornerstone Baptist Church of Mayo, FL.
