William Bryant Lundy was born in Shady Grove to James and Mary (McDaniel) Lundy. He was a veteran of World War 1. After the war, he lived in Wauchula. He married Nellie Mae Hall, also of Wauchula, on 22 September, 1920. He spent the rest of his adult life in Venus, Florida. He died at Bay Pines VA Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida of complications from diabetes. He is buried in Venus Cemetery next to his wife.
