Ann, also known as Anna Maria Thomas was first married to Albert Bee, son of John Bee and Jane Amelia Southall. Albert W. Bee died suddenly in 1859, at the age of 24, leaving his wife, Anna Maria, with 2 children: Joshua and Carrie. Her brother-in-law, George Bee, was unmarried at the time. He was a tin smith by trade, as evidenced in the Indiana Civil War draft papers. The 1870 census shows him residing with Anna Maria and her children, as well as his mother, now a widow, and known as Jane Wright.

By 1880, George is declared a widower in the Federal Census records. His wife, Ann Thomas has died. He has 1 child, a son, Charles Witchell Bee, 8 years old. Shortly before George died in 1885, he made his will, leaving his son to be raised by George B. Montgomery and his wife. He also states, that if Mr. Montgomery's wife dies, his nephew, Joshua Bee, will take over raising his nephew, Charles.

His natural born son, Charles Witchell Bee, died in 1932. His mother is named as Ann Thomas on his death certificate. I must conclude by this, that Anna Maria Thomas, was married to both men, though I have yet to see any records substantiating this claim.
