John H. Miller, who died at the Klamath Agency of that insiduous enemy to mortality - consumption, services were held in the Klamath city cemetry on the 30th, under the auspices of the Linkville Lodge No. 110, A.O.U.W., who was born in Des Moines county, Iowa, June 12, 1842. With his parents he came across the plains to the Willamette valley in 1842. From thence he came to Klamath county in 1869. He was for many years prominently identified with the interests and developments of this county and acknowledge exempliary citizen, devoted to his family, true to his friend and loyal to his country. What more need to be said than - Rest in peace. A friend.
