George Allmon, 52, died suddenly on Wednesday morning in his home at Wattsville from heart trouble. Funeral services will be held Friday at 12, and burial will be made at Scroggsfield. Mr. Allmon was station agent at Wattsville, having held that position since the establishment of a depot there. He is survived by Mrs. Allmon, whose maiden name was Etta Cree, two brothers and a sister; A. T. Allmon, of Mechanicstown, James Allmon and Mrs. Ida Perry, of Alliance. He was a courteous and clever man, and a very efficient and capable agent.

George W. Allmon, station agent at Wattsville for 25 years, died suddenly of heart disease at 5 a.m., Wednesday. The funeral will be held today (Friday) at 11:30, services being conducted by Rev. Messrs. Ball and McCall. burial will be made at Scroggsfield.
Mr. Allmon was born in Wattsville, September 25, 1869. He was married to Etta Cree, daughter of Thomas Cree, at Freeport, September 6, 1894. They only child born to them died several years ago. Surviving are the wife, two brothers, Allison Allmon of Fox Township and J. H. Allmon of Alliance, and a sisters, Mrs. Ida Perry of Alliance. Mr. Allmon was a member of the Chestnut Ridge M. E. Church.
