Glen R. Davidson, 76, of Brewster, entered into rest Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999 in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

He was born Aug. 20, 1923 in Disautel, the son of George and Lucy (Dowell) Davidson. Glen grew up in the Bridgeport area.

Glen served in the Navy PT squadron stationed at Pearl Harbor during W.W. II. On July 15, 1947, he married Fae Hammons at Couer d' Alene, ID. They moved to Alaska in 1947, where he was employed by the Alaskan Railroad. He retired in 1978 and they moved to Wenatchee. They moved to Brewster in 1982, where they have since resided.

He is survived by a son, Steve Davidson of Fort Lauderdale, FL; a daughter, Sharon Stevenson of Briar; two grandchildren, C.J. and Tara Stevenson of Briar; three brothers, Arnold of Bridgeport Bar, Don of Ajo, AZ, and Larry of Creston, CA; and one sister, Norma of Quincy.

His parents, his wife of 50 years, one sister Gayle and a baby sister, Mary, preceded him in death.

Services will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999 at 10 a.m. from the Barnes Chapel, Brewster, with Pastor Paul McDowell officiating. Committal service and interment to follow at the Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1-8 p.m. at Barnes Chapel.

Services are under the direction of Barnes Chapel, Brewster.
