Funeral services for Ms. Betty Elizabeth Johnson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Calcasieu Baptist Church, Glenmora, with Reverend John Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery, Union Hill, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Ms. Johnson, 91, of Glenmora, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, in Lexington House, Alexandria, LA.
She was a loving and devout Christian. She enjoyed farming and loved her church family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivy and Lona Eaves; one son, Kevin Johnson; two brothers, Gervus Eaves and Garner Eaves.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include three nephews, Robert Eaves and his wife, Kathy, of Texas, Ivy D. Eaves, and his wife, Ruth, of Union Hill, Tommy K. Eaves, and his wife, Wanda, of Florida; two foster children, Ronnie and Rose.
